Lol...Lotta memories with this cut, I had this same 8mm movie when I was a kid...What a treat every Sunday setting up the screen and our Belle & Howell movie projector to watch this classic!

How did you get the 8mm transferred? Pretty good... no flicker, keystone, etc.
Wasn't the gag of the motorcycle in the trench lifted from another movie?? (Maybe another Universal film, like W. C. Fields?)

We do a video frame by frame capture straight to computer.
I'm afraid I don't know much about the film itself. But I do believe this was part of the full featured movie Abbott and Costello Meet the Keystone Kops, however I am not sure.
