The young gentleman who now has all of my attention also didn't get it right away. He noticed me almost immediately,but even though he is very good-looking,somehow he just wasn't my type,and I didn't start giving him much attention until I noticed that he seemed to like me. First that pricked my curiosity,then slowly I started appreciating the attention more and more,I tried to find out more about him,and little by little feelings and attraction developped on my end as well.. 6-8 months into it.

Excuse the cliché nature of my comment, but I once became extremely attracted to one of my teachers back in college.. to the point that I would hang around after class if I knew he was working late and pretend to have to go to the bathroom or such just to pass by his office and catch a glimpse of him before leaving.. Well that very teacher, the whole first month I was in his class, I would meet him in the hallways and not even recognize him!..
So yes, time can work wonders sometimes.
