I've only watched the first 2 minutes & my guess is that this is going to be a completely pointless exercise, the Aton will destroy the Merc. Will I be right? lol
I've heard about cars that can drive upside down i.e. at over 190mph. That requires around double the weight of the car 1 - to counteract gravity, and 2 to push the car to the ceiling with the same force as a stationary car on the road.
Just think - you could reinact that men in black scene for real!!
I know. Even on my MY99 Subaru Impreza, the huge wing on the back does look like a shelf for storing DVD's, but it actually gives a 450kg pressure on the rear wheels, 500 if you got the small wing over the rear window that directs air flow down to the wing on the trunk. You know that they said you could drive an F1 car in the roof of a tunnel? I heard somewhere that they are gonne try it. They found a tunnel to test it in :D
That's because compared to the veyron, a formula one car has the aerodynamics of a garden shed. It may sound like a contradiction, but all the fancy racing car fins are designed to push the car onto the track, to accelerate and brake faster, and steer faster than the tyres would normally allow, but the forward resistance is relatively high.
You know what; that I can totally agree on, on the basis of an vs. test. I just get a twitch every time somebody mentions the Veyron ;) Nice comeback, Timp, I won't argue on what you said here, but the Veyron is actually (according to Top Gear) quicker than a formula one car. Makes you think...
Mercedes getting 0-60 in 1.6 seconds my ass! Or did it say 4.6?
