@IrontoughItalian AND @natethegreat178...I think you're both missing the impact of the Italy/Germany game. Arguably the best game ever played and, yes, irontough, our compatriots did pull it out, but 118 minutes of well-played football with many scoring chances for both sides, back-and-forth play, well orchestrated attacks, breathtaking counterattacks...ABSOLUTELY MARVELOUS FOOTBALL!

@natethegreat178 ... Im not worried at all.. Its the Germans who need luck when they play Italy. Italy beat germany 95% of the time.. Its the Germans who have not won since 1990. I have nothing against the Germans but everybody has trouble with Germany. Italy is I think the only nation that knows how to break the Germans down. Good luck to you sir

@natethegreat178 What do you mean you weren't meant to get that far? You were playing at home which should be a bigger advantage for you! You beat every other team however when you were faced with us you were completely outplayed. I know its hard for you to face the facts loser. Secondly, watch the Italy games in the 2010 world cup without your german rose tinted glasses on and maybe you'll realise that the country that hosted the world cup is 1 of the most corrupt nations on the planet! :)

@SerafinaTiAma Blaming the referee is a very easy outing for italian fans isn't it? Every time something goes wrong in the national team, it's always the refs! We lost to you guys fair and square and we were not even supposed to get that far in 2006. You guys will be shocked in 2012 in ukraine. Germany's squad is the best the german football association has seen since the gerd muller days. Good luck.

and we only got nocked out last year because the ref was blatantly on their side as we score loads of perfectly good goals and he disallowed them.
