"We" is a powerful and dangerous word. And peaceful people should avoid using it when talking about the actions of violent strangers.
Imagine you lived in a neighborhood controlled by a violent gang...
What if you started using first-person plural pronouns, like "we," "us'" and "our" when discussing the gang and their activities, even though you were not in the gang, you didn't know anyone in the gang, and no one in the gang knew or cared about you?
Is it possible this linguistic programming could eventually lead you to identify with the gang and accepting their activities? Or resistance to the idea that what they were doing was wrong? What if everybody in the neighborhood started doing this?

This is completely awesome! Great song choice, too! I've been working for the last year to remove collectivist pronouns from my vocabulary. It changes the tone of all my conversations with statists. It's my only criticism of Dr. Paul, too.

Santorum is so full of it. "We" got attacked because "they" hate "our" freedom? LOL "they" don't give a damn about "our" freedom. Ron Paul is right; it's called Blowback.

Agree...I think he has great intentions; he just cant let go of the "Patriotism" and "Collectivism" nonsense; I was also a supporter in 2008 ... then, found Wes Bertrand; which lead me to School Sucks and Freedomain Radio.
Eyes WIDE open now...amazing how 18 years of indoctrination can be replaced in less than 6 months.
Ron Paul is a bridge to freedom; unfortunately "education" is similar to Gandalf yelling "You shall not pass" in the Lord of the Rings

Brett...
I would like to make a suggestions that somehow, someway you incorporate the movie RAD into every future video.
Education is not the problem of "our" kids today; it is the lack of "our" kids growing up to Laurie Laughlin and Bill Allen sharing the screen together for the greatest movie ever...the Government purposely hides kids from the movie RAD; this is my Alex Jones like theory of society today.
Less RAD = Less Freedom; inversely, RAD = Anarchy.

Dude, I have to say - this is brilliant. I guess I have always seen this, and why I'm a regular pain when people use "we" inappropriately. At the root level I've always known how dangerous this indoctrination of thought is that takes place on young people for twelve years. It becomes embedded in the language and is very difficult to reverse. It's what allows the opacity of the individual to lessen and the ruling class to effortlessly control large numbers of tax livestock.
