  • Such a heart-wrenching tribute! My heart is with you Rebecca! Peter would be so proud of what you are doing for others who have suffered as you have. Though I didn't know Peter, as I watched the news clips in 2005, I felt I came to know him just as many other Kentuckiana Citizens did. I am proud of him......and I am so proud of you!

  • rest in peace peter.from your cousin,jimmy

  • "Blessed are The Peacemakers, for they shall be called The Sons of God!"

    Matthew 5:9

  • I think are police officers are the true hero's. We should remember the ones here at home who gave it all. Not just the ones who gave it all over seas. The boys in blues are the country true Heros if the country. They never know what they are going into the just get the call and go without thinking twice about it so we can stay safe. I thank you for that

  • Thinking of you and all of your loved ones. Thank you for your dedicated service to others. Continue to keep watch over your loved ones. Bob Gordon, Father of Michael P. Gordon, EOW: 8/8/04

  • Six years later and it is still hard. We still think of you everyday and miss you. Rest easy brother.

  • Five years, and it still hits home. Thank you for your service, Peter, from a military veteran. Rebecca, I hope you and your loved ones are doing well.

  • I met Peter and his brother once. He was quiet, intelligent and in-tune with his dreams. My wife is Peter's first cousin and Peter, his brother and my wife and I went to a bar to hang out. I went to buy a round for everyone and when Peter told me he doesn't drink, I jokingly said, "A cop that doesn't drink? You'll never make it as a cop!" I regret that stupid joke to this day. Pete was a great, centered man. Peter's death haunts my wife, Pam to this day. Peter, please Bless us from above!
