Technically this isn't supposed to be possible. In the original Batman comics, Joker was a normal comedian who fell into nuclear waste and his face turned white and his hair turned green and he became insane. It wasn't originally makeup.

@Susi2584 Really? I always thought it wasn't necessarily make up just a change of his skin from that accident, like he's just forced to look like that.

@JAYMONEY716 in the comic book Joker takes off his make up and he is a police officer..I don't know which comic book exactly..but it is based I think on ''The Killing Joke''

i think the fact that he could take off his makeup kind of killed it for me in the movie, like the joker's white skin is what kept him so mysterious, like you never knew who he was!

@Susi2584 i'll be fair, heath was the comic joker and nicolson was the animated joker but from a hero/villian point of view, nicolson was the better joker
