Nostromo and SWTOR UI Beta

Using the Razer Nostromo in SWToR. Shot during the Weekend Betas, so hopefully many of these issues are fixed for launch. Plan to have a more comprehensive video up once ToR is a ways out of launch.

So i just picked up a nostromo and been playing ToR with it. I've been trying to figure out a good setup for navigation using the thumbpad and it seems that the navigation in it is a lot harder than expected. Definitely love the comfort level of it, so I'm gonna try to figure out another setup method so that I can use it more efficiently. Do you have any tips for me?

My default advice, which may have already gleaned from the rest of my vids, is set bind the dpad in ToR to Forward/Back, Strafe Left/Right, then use the mouse for steering. Holding RightClick acts as a looklock (like a FPS). Between the two, you should have about as much fluidity of movement as twin-stick gaming console controllers (ie xbox, PS3)

@Runescapevidproducer Thanks for the feedback. I'll have to double check my settings.. didn't notice volume as an issue during editing.. Probably need to adjust mic vs environment balance.

The music in the intro is "Wild Sex (in the working class)" by Oingo Boingo. I thought the snippet was appropriate as a WoW junkie :D

@Grendalsh ya know, i never thought of it that way lol.....i'm so used to using a combination of different keys for movement, that i had to train my mind to not want to do like that anymore lol
