The grand OVERTURE of epic BEN HUR embodies magnificent choir and dramatic resonance that is redolent of the golden era of cinema, when movies were made to perfection and the scenes were taken and retaken with great effort not only by the director but actors, as well. The majestic soundtrack is in itself a lesson in theaterical effect while it is in complete harmony with the spectacular pageantry and melodrama of this gem of a movie.

Siempre me ha impresionado, al inicio de la carrera de cuadrigas, cómo hacen las curvas enperfectísima línea recta, como una flecha.

LA CARRERA EN EL COLISEO ROMANO. LA PRESENCIA DIVINA Y HUMANA DE JESÚS... ¡¡EN FIN...!! TODOS LOS OSCARES MUY MERECIDOS.
ESTE FILM NADA DEBE ENVIDIARLE A LOS ACTUALES APOYADOS MAYORMENTE EN LA TECNOLOGÍA DIGITAL. DOBLE MÉRITO CONSIDERENDO ADEMÁS QUE HAN TRANSCURRIDOS MAS DE 50 AÑOS DE SU FILMACIÓN.

Imponente banda sonora de esta obra maestra del cine. Involvidables actuaciones, y la trama es simplemente reflejo de la vida. Excelente tributo.

Hungarian. When it comes to music, they're not too shabby either. He's considered one of the founding fathers of film music. Anyone who could do both Spellbound and El Cid knew how to capture the "feel" of a film.

La mejor pelicula de todos los tiempos. Bien merecido los 11 oscares. No hay duda, han pasado 51 años desde su estreno mundial y sigue gustando a las nuevas generaciones. BEN HUR, lo maximo.
