Shuttle-ISS Docking over Florida. This is a simulation using the Microsoft FSX (Flight Simulator) using a free "add-on" at this web link:
http://www.simviation.com/simviation/static.php?ID=63&page=12
This is the ISS placed directly over KPAM (Tyndall AFB) at 900k ft (175 miles). It is FSX Scenery.

  • Lol that's no docking area that's Soyuz lol, try the black one between the big golden solar panels and open the bay doors to reveal the docking port

  • As I said before... Oops! I didn't see him.... This was a unique docking method.... Actually this method is to improve communications and relations with the Russians :>)

  • Wanna dock with ISS and fly in orbit realistically? - download Orbiter Spaceflight simulator. FSX is for aviation. Oh, and by the way, congrats - you crashed into the docked Soyuz spacecraft.. :D

  • Oops! I didn't see him.... This was a unique docking method....

  • hi there very nice.

    i have fsx and installd this add on but when i get to the 900.000ft there is nothing there and cant see the iss

  • The best way to "place" the Shuttle in the area of the ISS is as follows:

    1. select World --> Map...

    2. enter coordinates N30° 3.90' and W85° 34.05'

    3. enter Altitude +899950 and press OK

    You will need to be in the "Slew" mode to control the Shuttle.
