  • @blueroomexit Have to disagree. Sorry.

  • @blueroomexit They didn't write better B-sides but they were of a high quality, much like The Smiths, because they took their template from The Smiths, in terms of creating their own individual world full of a particular iconography.

  • @MrDoogie1989 It's what we do in England.

  • @tenderprey75 Having to resort to violence to protect isn't fair either though if you're going to talk about fairness. It's not fair to have to resort to any kind of extreme measure because there's no choice in the matter.

I also gotta disagree. Not every creature is willing to resort to violence, even when in danger. There's plenty of people out there that won't. Some might think those kinds of people are stupid but that's really neither here nor there.

  • @baboon2525 there is. Violence is a symptom of our time, and Suede are obviously allowed to portray it.

  • @kaledrina no it isn't. Violence can be absolutely fair. Any creature faced with danger to itself or dearest (in a broad sense) will rightfully resort to it. Useless street attacks, however, are not traditional or fair, but a result of directionless aggresion or surpressed homoerotic impulses (remember: men don't fight, men kill). Would an aristocrat touch a bar bully with anything but his produced sword?

  • @tenderprey75 Isn't all violence just non-sense?

  • @tenderprey75 just watched this, and you're right.

  • @sidandmoi actually, i've come to like this song, pretty much. I prefer the Sci-Fi Lullabies version (which somehow sounds slightly different from this, maybe it was mastered in a different way i dunno) to any live concert. those multi-layered vocals on the chorus are top notch, the guitar track is really good, and overall, that class the track has cannot be portrayed in a live show. imo...
