Okay, I have a question, and it might sound stupid. With the snare drums, when the individual playing the drum is moving there sticks around, is that a method of keeping time or is that just for show? I have seen that done before but I am at a loss to explain what it is for, Thanks

Scots are best at pipes, but the Canadian's are without a doubt second.
I'm Scottish, and I think it's brilliant that American's and Canadian's have not forgotten where they really come from.
Respect from Scotland.

No Inspectah, i don't think YOU understand what the video is about. The Miami Valley Pipes and Drums is a small non-profit group from Dayton, Ohio. They meet once a week for practice and perform at various parades and festivals throughout the year. Where do you see this as a "sellout"? I look at the negative comments posted up and down on this page and I'm trying to figure out why any good Scotsman would have a problem with anyone paying homage to their culture.
