Why is it when children appear on this show, they always appear as the weaker, dumber beings? Most children today aren't like that. Some can hold their own in a fight. But, if the Voltron Force showed up, they'll most likely loss it.

Seeing as to how this episode was presented in 1984, the year the Soviet Union boycotted the Los Angeles Olympics (due to the US boycotting the 1980 Moscow Olympics after Soviet troops entered Afghanistan), was this a pot shot at the Soviet government? (Doom representing the Soviet Union?)
