FOR A COMPLETE ALPHABETICAL LIST OF MY SONGS VISIT: http://web.mac.com/wolfrutto/Site_3/Blank.html

On a personal note:
1. Someone asked me why I do not post the real karaoke under my songs in order to enable viewers to practice right there. --
Initially, I posted only songs sung by me in various bars and recorded by friends (that explains the difference in quality of the recordings). I could not possibly ask the "mama-sans" of the bars to let us record the karaoke without singing. - Later, after I had run out of suitable bar-karaoke, I posted some material taken from the internet. But I might run into problems with copyrights, if I post them "usable", that is without the distortion of my amateurish singing. ;-)
2. Some listeners seem to be put off by my voice in the higher ranges. (One lady wrote: "You have many voices, Wolf" and I didn't know whether to take this as a compliment or the opposite ;-) I cannot always transpose songs I like to a comfortable range, since this often changes the timbre of the instruments. And I do not know any male singer who sounds "macho", when he has to force his voice into a higher pitch than natural for him. And remember: As a complete amateur, it cannot possibly be the beauty of my voice I am after. But this partly explains why I often posted more than one version of a song
3. I am aware of the fact, that I am usually not singing "straight" (that is without any variations in tempo and melody, as children usually would do) and that this makes it more difficult for non-musical people to learn the melodies. The reason is, that I am mainly interested in jazz-standards that would really sound funny sung "straight".
