Back on December 16, 2007 (the 234th Anniversary of the Boston Tea Party) Ron Paul raised $6 MILLION in one day during his presidential campaign with contributions from angry Americans who wanted to take their country back. These same people are the core and back bone of the Tea Party Movement.

Now the media is talking to pundits of the right and left to discuss who owns the Tea Party. Republicans in desperation are claiming grounds to it but that is not the case. The Tea Party Movement is a protest and refutation of BOTH Democrats AND Republicans. It is an ever-growing group of patriotic Americans who want to challenge the establishment and take their Government back to "We The People".

The Tea Party Movement is AGAINST: expanding government, foreign military occupations, entangling alliances, corporate bailouts, deficit spending, endless inflation, the welfare state, the police state, the loss of personal liberties, and any other form of tyranny.

The Tea Party Movement is FOR: limited government, a humble foreign policy, friendship and trade with nations, personal liberty and accountability, fiscal conservatism, free markets, a sound monetary system, and a reinstatement of the Constitution. They want in office only candidates who are in line with those same core American values.

This is not a movement of the Republicans, although they are trying to hijack it. It's strictly an outcry against oppressive government of the Democrats AND Republicans.

  • Tea Party = Bankers who dont want to give our unborn children loans

  • @gonadcancervictim Are you kidding me? The Tea Party is against the bankers who for the past 100 years have bankrupted our country BY DESIGN.

  • And anyways, I was only taunting you. I get that it's an entire system of government and policies you are criticising. Like you said, Obama and Bush are just instruments, but I daresay, it would be an immense challenge to change the establishment!

  • I know and that is why we must ALL stand behind Ron Paul and his "Campaign For Liberty".

We need to elect strict constitutionalists with principled integrity. But first, the American people need to WAKE UP to the New World Order and what it means global enslavement.

Watch Alex Jones's films: The Obama Deception, Fall of the Republic, End Game, and Terrorstorm.

America is being scientifically engineered to accept tyranny by losing their ability to notice it. Watch & share those films!!!

  • The teaparty movement to me:

    "It stands for trouble"

The republicans are infiltrating the very movement which rose from the people, and is trying to distort and destroy the momentum Ron Paul had in 2007.

    ANTIESTABLISHMENTARIANISM !!

That's the root of the original tea which brews Freedom...

  • And o ya,good job dude

  • because of government spending and the unesecary social programs. We need to wake up and stop fighting eachother like babies and focus on the real problem. What kind of ameica are we giving our children and will there be an america left if we just continue this cycle and become the next greece or argentina?

  • Thank you for taking the time to explain this. :)

  • funded by dozens of companies. lobbying is the word you're looking for. so far for"independent".

  • yeah dont worry I'm a ron paul milton friedman apostle

  • @BirdsGirl44 The free market approach to healthcare is to eliminate all health insurance. Health insurance is a form of involuntary and voluntary socialism. There is no incentive for the customer to seek out cheaper options to contain costs with Health Insurance. In short, a real libertarian would eliminate all insurance and make the system truly market driven.

  • Give us Ron Paul

  • You have peaked my interest. I think I will look into this Libertarian movement. I have always been an Independent but voted mostly Democrat. The Health Care issue has me stumped. We are one of those families who have a little coverage but not quite enough. I wonder if this plan of the Presidents is the best we can get for now. What is Mr. Paul's stand on that issue? Feel free to enlighten me. I really need to understand for myself. Thanks for shining light on this Tea Party issue as well.
