If I go over my broadband limit or the usage allowance, then you will charged for additional usage in units of 5GB, at £5 per 5GB.
So my question is this...If i've payed you for extra units and I only used one of them. Do the other units get carried forward on to the fallowing months usage.

I'm having issues with slow BT broadband. Can you help?
Download speed during the test - 157 Kbps
For your connection, the acceptable range of speedsis 100-500 Kbps.
DSL Connection Rate :568 Kbps(DOWN-STREAM), 992 Kbps(UP-STREAM) IP Profile for line is - 350 Kbps
The throughput of Best Efforts (BE) classes achieved during the test is - 3.83:13.31:83.27 (SBE:NBE:PBE)
Upload speed during the test was - 695 Kbps
Upstream Rate IP profile on your line is - 992 Kbp
@jimsim3 If you are charged £5 for over usage any remaining units are not carried forward to the following month. The minimum charge for over usage is £5 for up to 5GB of over usage.

@gregjirving I'm sending you a PM, we'll need a bit more info before we can diagnose this, looks like the line carries a lower speed anyway but we can still check to see if there are any problems :)

Why doesn't my homehub 2.0 allow me to forward port range 21000-22000?
bobbystar101 1 year ago
@bobbystar101 I wasn't aware that there is an issue with ports 21000-22000, I'll try to find out if there is an issue - I'll post back here when I find out :)

Well I those ports correctly set to forward in my BT Homehub firewall and of course my software firewall iptables.
I am certain it is a problem with the router firmware as when I use a different router I regain full functionality from my net connection and the ports forward correctly.
If this cannot be promptly fixed I would expect a full refund and free broadband, as the connection I receive from BT is not fit for purpose and fails to meet its own terms and conditions or acceptable use policy.

@bobbystar101 I've checked with our technical people and there isn't an issue with that Port range or any firmware issues which might cause this behaviour. Rather than setting up a port range have you tried setting some individual ports up to see if that works?
