Proper orchestral arrangement of The Last Duel, still including the drum kit and electric bass often heard in the Lufia 2 OST.

Only the intro is significantly rewritten. The chorus begins at 0:33 and is largely similar to the original arrangement.

  • Thank you all very much for your comments. I've been planning to do another track from the Lufia II OST. Feel free to let me know which one you'd prefer to hear next.

  • Oh man, now I wish they'd make a PROPER remake of Lufia II, with a full orchestral soundtrack like this. The game deserves it!

  • The build-up to the chorus here is amazing, but past that... it's a little disappointing. It has all the urgency of the original (which is great!) but the instrumentation sounds lacking in depth or clarity, somehow.

  • This deserve more views !

  • Well done!

  • EPIC !!!! :)

  • @drascin

I love you. Very rare that you see a person not blinded by nostalgia goggles.

  • @Svenshinhan: Indeed. Honestly, I'd been told this was a *new* Lufia game instead of a remake of 2, I'd have loved it more. It had much of the Lufia feeling (including strange puzzle segments, always a necessity), and it WAS a good game, really deserving of praise.

It just wasn't Lufia 2, and the expectation that it was hurt it so much in the eyes of people.

  • dude amazing!!!

  • @Svenshinhan

Well yeah i guess it wasn't a bad game. I just wished that it was a turn based RPG. :]

  • @bboybiogrind Actually I did enjoy it. It wasn't a bad game at all. It's just that Lufia II deserves an additional remake that keeps the general gameplay (combat, story, dungeons, towns etc) intact.

  • @Svenshinhan

You didn't enjoy the DS version? if so ... I didn't enjoy it either :[
