This is what the mass media does to people. It fills people's head with so many lies that when they go to someone who knows the truth, in this case, a doctor, they think the truth teller is the lie. In this case she actually convinced the doctor to give her a flu shot based off the misinformation she had heard and her certainty that it was true.

@MrSokitumi It wasn't mercury, it was something else---something the AMERICAN vaccines have in it. I forget what it was. It was all over der Spiegel, one of the main German newspapers. The German people (it didn't talk specifically about the military) were throwing a fit about whatever the additive was because it weakens and sometimes attacks the immune system. So, they took it out. Look at der Spiegel for archives. It was sometime last fall or early 2010.
