That 'Kayak' was never designed for such rough water and waves. For that you'd need a proper sea kayak with spray decks to stop the water coming in.
These guys should think themselves lucky that they capsized in such shallow water.
If they'd made it beyond the surf they may have toppled in deep water with currents - and I'd hate to see these two jokers fighting for their lives in those conditions.
