This is Eddie Condon's Band at it's very best.
This was from a broadcast when the band played on the USS WASP in New York.
I would think this was recorded around 1958. Members in the band were of course Eddie Condon guitar with Wild Bill Davison cornet, Edmund Hall clarinet, Cutty Cutshall trombone, Gene Schroeder piano, Cliff Leeman drums and I don't recognize the bass player

  • Cutty Cutshall on trombone

  • Who's the trombonist?

  • Genial, muchas gracias por el video.

  • What a joyous group!!

What doomed modern jazz was its abandonment of beauty and joy.
