Hamilton to Hollywood #23

Back in 2003 my friend Nick and I ventured to Hollywood, California from Hamilton, Ohio. At the time I was working three jobs simultaneously, saving cash for our journey and, post-high school, completely unsure of what I was going to do with my life. We took Greyhound buses across the country, exploring new places and meeting interesting people along the way. Now, almost seven years later, its amazing to look back at our adventure and fondly remember the experiences we shared.

Every Monday and Thursday Ill be posting new portions of the video, beginning in mid-April of 10 and running through until at least September. Join Nick and I, from packing our bags and saying our goodbyes to friends, to trekking through the heartland, cities, and mountains, and of course, exploring Hollywood.

Just wondering, and not trying to be nosey, but are you and nick still friends and in contact? If so, you should do an update at the end of this series, talking about your trip and some memories. I don't know, it would be interesting to see...

@kalojado brad, that's actually a really great idea and would be cool.. - about nick, though, he sort of disappeared.. - as far as i know, he still has the same job at Wendy's, still lives in the same house, etc. but he stopped returning messages and calls from me and the rest of our friends years ago so who knows..

i ageree but some times friends disparer and all u can do is to rember teh good time u guys had :) maybe he knows it to and thinks about it u never know

@ReviewtheWorld Man, that sucks. Maybe you can find him on Facebook or Myspace or somewhere, send him the links to these vids and make him remember why you guys were good friends... I remember Nick coming in with you to the theatre and stuff, and it sucks you guys kinda lost touch...
