  • Does anyone care to offer a smart ass commentary on this? Two words of advice - don't bother. These men breathed the rarified air that is reserved for the immortals, and you're simply blessed that they still walk amoung us.

  • If they were just starting in this day and age with all the available technology, they'd have put the 3 of them on Mt. Rushmore !

  • What was it with these sixties cameramen? They think they're being all creative with their shots when really they should get the hell out of the way and focus on the performers...reminds me of the jack asses who shot Hendrix at Berkley...such a shame.

  • @JonYKim164 ... Ginger Baker is still alive

  • think the camera operator might be sweet on jack , or maybe it was jacks mother behind the camera.anyway whoever it was they did not think much of claptons solo.....ha.

  • R.I.P Ginger <3

  • I'm from LA, and saw them at the Santa Monica Civic, Valley State College (in the afternoon!), the Forum and the Anaheim Convention Center. Of all these shows, only the Anaheim show was grim, just no chemistry that night. If Cream were new and young now they'd do what they did then: blow everybody else off the stage.

  • This is Cream at their live-performance best. Believe it or not, when I saw them at the Shrine Auditorium in LA in 1968 they were (to my utter Cream-besotted teenage shock) BORING---a bit too stoned to connect with anything beyond their instruments, and more prone to jam for 22 minutes on one "Spoonful" riff than rip out a song like this!

OK, that said, I believe the three were almost godlike musicians (and still are). Even demigods might have an off-night.

  • Well the hat's a bit silly...

  • yeahh, amazing classic
