Colin McRae Gathering down the M6, Sandbach

This was taken on the 30/8/2008 as the Subaru community paid its respects to Colin Mcrae with the Mcrae gathering.

A drive from Lanarkshire to Prodrive in Banbury.

Work commitments prevented me from taking part in the event, but as I was working just round the corner I took this video instead.

What really suprised me was the number of other people who turned up to watch and you can see some of these on the motorway at the Sandbach junction further up the motorway.

Look, I'm aware McRae had his best moments in the WRC with the Subaru but why isn't there no Focus RS'? Don't get me wrong, I loved the Impreza but McRae had a pretty solid run with the Focus too even if he was beaten by Sainz alot.

@SaintPhuckauph More so with Subaru because he won his World Championship in a Subaru.
