John Deere 55 combine in action. The combine has the pick up reel attached. This combine is harvesting oats that were swathed. Heavy rains and wind flattened the oats . Later the weeds grew up through the oats making harvest difficult. This oat crop yielded over 90 bushels per acre

  • I throw a bullshit flag on the over 90 bushel per acre...

  • @waltopher Thanks, It was a really good year for us on that field. Similar results are recorded at "Grain Yield of Corn, Soybeans, and Oats as Affected by Crop Rotation and Nitrogen Fertilization for Corn" , google it

  • How old is the John Deere ?

  • @heartland96a it is a 1969, so 41 years old.
