''WE'RE IN THE MONEY'' AND ''PETER, PETER'' PLAYED BY JACK PAYNE AND HIS BAND.
THIS IS AN ACETATE DISC RECORDING TAKEN FROM A BBC PROGRAMME IN 1933/34.
THE NARRATOR DURING ''WE'RE IN THE MONEY'' TALKING ABOUT PHIL TRIX, IS CHRISTOPHER STONE. IT FADES OUT DUE TO THE RUNNING TIME OF THE DISC.
I first heard this on the radio, not a live broadcast I hasten to add but on a Jack Payne tribute programme in the '70's & have not heard it since. Can't believe it's been available since 2007, only just come across it. Such "attack" on "We're in the money" & great vocal. So much hotter than in the Gold Diggers of 1933 medley.
I would date this to Summer 1933 as the two tunes very very popular at that time.
Thank you for sharing a part of this fascinating broadcast.

FANTASTIC, for that O1.58, you are sitting in one of those 30's armchairs close by your loudspeaker. Why don't broadcasters sound like that today!. This has made my day, many thanks to you.
