  • @Realthx Pretty sure gas is mined at 4 gas a trip vs 5 minerals a trip. AND you can only have 3 workers per source (assuming you have a base next to it) AND you only get 2 sources per base.

  • @evans387 if u want to bring up elitist arguments, consider that it was a kr gm that used bcs.

  • @XDezibellX As someone in top 8 diamond, I know the practicality of these builds. The Pro level is much different than Masters or even Diamond, so the viability of BCs in ANY game is low.

    It is not a planned tech path, please do not try to educate me on a topic which I know more than you.

  • @evans387 Day9Daily about Hero's PvT. He went Zealot/Archon which then got replied to by bcs, which then saw a techswitch to stalkers, which could have been anticipated by marauders but didnt. Also, do you know why immvp considers mech and bio equal? because they both transition into skyterran... just stop talking.

  • Wow, why do all the terrans here say that it balances out to mules having 4 workers worth of income. Do they not notice that this statement shows imbalance? Well, I would give terran that anyway, I just want CC max energy to be reduced to 50, so any unspent energy is unspent mules. Zerg has similar punishment with larvae and toss has the same punishment with warp gates. Terran has not similar mechanic, they can just que up a unit if they are afraid of miss macro.

  • @thebladeofchaos even so, with all of the mules, terran can just spend a portion of the mule income on buildings and still have money to spare.

  • @Sparkz147 1) 4 worker income for 1 mule beats toss's macro mechanic this is =/= balanced. 4 workers is in terran's favor. But this isn't even my problem with mules, my problem is you can macro like shit and not be punished for it with mules

    2) Not only do Terran buildings fly, but, they do not need a power field to be planted. Just because probes can plant multiple buildings at a time doesn't mean it has relevance to mineral income. (and if it did, this is in terran's favor as well)

  • @azzavarrok Balances out to terran still having a mineral income advantage from what is supposed to be a balanced macro mechanic. Why is terran's macro mechanic any better than toss's? There is a thread on battle.net where I go into detail on this subject. It basically proves that toss only has a mineral advantage from ~2 workers (depending on his chronos) until terran expands once, and continues to stack. My problems with the mule, though, are it stacks workers and bad macro isn't punished.
