depends. if you have a flat landing without enough snow, then it does. Just be careful with the landings and its fine. There is padding in the sled.

i like to look at it a little differently...the thing about sledding is that it's all new ground, there's no pre-image, all criticism is purely close-mindedness. sledding is different, there is still plenty of exploring to do.
