  • Would this work with ABS plastic? What did you heat the plastic sheet with? Did you pull it out of an oven off video?

  • I'm not sure what ABS plastic would do, I used .040" PVC sheet. I had it in a regular electric house oven on the top rack at 350 degrees for about 30 seconds until the PVC drooped down and was rubbery. You can buy the sheets on eBay pretty cheap.

  • i tested the thermoformer on a rearend cover from a truck. it picked up the detail nicely using .040" pvc sheet

  • How do I get the staples out of the frame holding the plastic? I can imagine it's not easy...
