I almost get thrown out at C4L event for filming a uninvited crasher!

I filmed an uninvited crasher being thrown out by Campaign for Liberty security. Instead of worrying about the crasher, the secuirty then comes after me and demands that I shut off my camera. They then come over and grab my camera and point it away to keep me filming what is going on. Am I overreacting to being censored? Watch this footage and you decide.

Unfortunately there is no need for people who espouse racist and anti-semitic views like Tarrin Lupo and his friend to make videos of the conference.

Tarrin's personal anti-semitic views are his own. It seems pretty clear that Tarrin and his friend were trying to set something up, or plan something, but Campaign for Liberty in no way approves or condones their beliefs.

The Campaign for Liberty believes in freedom, not racial bias.

For real, you think I set this all up, wow. If I did I would not have waled in and filmed just the end of it, I would have been ready and got the whole thing. Not sure where on earth you come up with that I am racist, I never even gave an opinion about the crasher in the story. I tried to just focus on why they would care if I filmed it?

Good job with the coverage. I have to say, that as one of the security personnel at that event, we were told of this individual, that he was harrassing people. And while I agree he should be free to distribute whatever information he wants, he doesn't have the right to impede them at their tables. We had MANY complaints about this guy, and most worrisome was when he insisted on getting close to Ron Paul with his briefcase. That is when we decided to check the contents of his case.

Bubbaluvs, I hope my video was not bashing you guys, I tried very hard to say you did a good job and the right thing, frankly that guy was very intense and made me nervous and I was even armed. So I was glad you all handled it. The only issue I really have was why are they so worried about me filming? I really only have an issue with Steve and those other two bullies. I liked all the local Ga security volunteers, those guys were cool as hell! I just thought them touching my camera was wrong!

Thanks for showing us this infiltration divide and conquer attempt. Looks like these C4L people are used to dealing with this and knew exactly what this guy was here for. All your extra breathing does make you look guilty to mr. film man. Whether you were part of the set up or not doesn't matter. I'm glad that this issue has come up because C4L obviously needs to decide whether or not filming is allowed. It would be extremely hypocritical if they banned independant filming, even if it is their right. I'd like to see what they do.

PS...I thought that the whole point of the LIBERTY movement was to RESPECT other people and their property. WHY didn't you stop filming they told you to? WHY WERE YOU DISRESPECTFUL?

If it was a private event....they have every right to tell you to not film. PERIOD. If you don't agree...let me come down to your house and film you and see how you react....and considering that Dr Paul is one of the biggest enemies considered by the status quo...I would say I don't blame security for being extra cautious.
