  • I will most likely buy an "official" electric vehicle potentiometer in the end. I do like that something like this is cheap and works. Great at least for learning and experimenting with!

  • Radioshack pots are junk. The first 10% of it is a dead zone (no change in resistance). Also note that Radioshack pots will not be 5k at 1/2 position.

  • Is this your latest update, hows it going? I'm on the edge of my seat. Did you find the chatter problem? I want to go to work for you :-) even w/o pay.

  • i want a EV, in your experience/opinion will a BMW 3 series be a good or decent option to convertinto a EV??

  • That was awesome. If you want to do a PB-6 sort of thing, where there is only like 45 degrees of rotation, you could do a 300/45*5 kOhm, which is um, 33 kOhm (or maybe 25 would be good enough). Actually, maybe 150 degrees would be good. Are you going to make your own? No PB-6 for you?! You Gangster!
