As well as starting an ad break during the football, ITV1 managed to lose an entire ad break going into the delayed News at Ten.
This clip is from just before the last part of the football OB to the start of the news.

  • OH man, that is painful. Epic fail. Epic fail.

Ouch, bet that hurt ITV's pockets, losing an entire ad break. Eek, and a clock? Nightmare.

  • The video had to end just before the dong for the 10 O'Clock news didn't it?

  • jesus that meerkat scared me.... xD

  • @williamg209 i found that out a few days ago but thanks

  • NEWS AT 10:09 Or Something Like that because we had a weird problem with football!!!

  • @williamg209 i thinks its from a old button not used for 20 years that button is for the clcok

  • I guess the VT might be somehow related to the screwed up ad break - perhaps the 60" is a reference to 60 seconds worth of adverts? Looks like 60 seconds of something....

  • whats that clock for

  • what the hell is that clock thing at 4:44 ?

  • They had played the adverts therefore they couldn't play them again, plus they would have an arranged start time for the news, for the convenience of ITN and STV. STV would be showing fillers because they weren't showing the football.
