Remnants of the last Ice Age, global warming is a natural cycle, of course Ice melts quicker towards the end, test it for yourself. This fool states a rise by 220 feet? Bullshit!! That's what they said when climate change was first introduced. Then research indicated that over a 2 year period from 2006 - 2008, an amount of ice equivalent to 2 times the size of the country France has melted away.

Ice melts when you warm it up. Earth IS warming up. Think about it...

For the record, glaciers are completely different to ice caps.

well, i think the guy isn't quite right. the weight of that water off the artic ice cap would redistribute across the globe..& has it has been melting..but, ocean levels wouldn't rise significantly, because the ocean floors in certain geo fragile areas would sink due to that weight...

Yet people still drown.

Polar bears can swim but only so far. Your premise assumes there is ice to swim too. There have already been cases of polar bears drowning because they couldn't' reach ice in time.

And this isn't even going into the fact that Polar bears need ice to hunt too so if they don't drown, they still starve.
