Chicago averages about 400 murders but has like a 3rd of new yorks population. Meaning that chicago averages much more murders than ny city and has a lower population. You just can't handle the truth that ny city is america's safest city.

It doesnt matter, in order for ny city to be dangerous than have to have around 3,000 murders but even nypd is saying that the city is really safe these days. Nypd has also commented that crime in ny is decreasing and only going lower, New york is safer than every large city in the country.

Here let me explain this to you, Dangerous cities are counted by how many murders a town has per population. nyc has like millions of people but only gets about 500 murders. Buffalo has a population of about 260 thousand but gets like 80 to 90 murders. The population of buffalo is decreasing also, that's why it's more dangerous than new york.
