Do you wish that you were one of the participants in the Grand Central Station Freeze that brought the worlds largest train station to a halt and became a YouTube sensation? It is our privilege to invite you to join us for a similar stunt that could prove to be the greatest literacy demonstration ever! The Center for Literacy freeze will occur in a highly public place and convene hundreds of individuals like you to freeze motionless for a few minutes while appearing to read something. The Literacy Freeze will occur on Friday, November 20, 2009 in Center City, Philadelphia. The specific location will be revealed upon your commitment. An anticipated 500 participants will freeze in place for 3 minutes, staging a mission-based publicity stunt. The Center for Literacy will ensure the Freeze is covered by television, radio, and print media.
