The ones hit on the head??? that is for their fur, usually it the seal pups that are still being breastfeeding, the others are sea lions that get caught on nets or hooks, they try to eat the fish that get caught and then by accident they are caught too, and then brutally killed, fishermen hate sea lions because they eat their fish
