  • how long have you been using that position for you cello peg in front of the ear how well does it work for you?

  • @HeeneyMeisterRocks: It's actually just a trick of the camera angle -- my peg is behind my ear. Sometimes it even touches my neck just behind my left ear. :-)

  • does anyone know what musical or movie this is from?

  • It's not from a musical or a movie. It's just music for the sake of music! Pure art.

  • Delightful! One of my favorite pieces from perhaps my favorite composer (aside from Chopin, perhaps--and depending on my mood/the weather/what I had for lunch, etc...)! I love the slight tempo modulation in your performance--it adds a certain soulful quality without being too emotive. I think the slightly flat sound may be from compressing this for YouTube, as I've noticed that here even on some professionally recorded music. Thank you for posting--this goes straight to my favorites!

  • what a beautiful music. I love it.

  • I really like this performance! Bravo!

  • So often in classical music musicians play songs too fast, similar to how after practicing a choreographed dance too many times, it feels as if the moves are too slow for the song (even when they're exactly on-tempo). You've struck the perfect speed with this song, one that demonstrates your musical skill but doesn't dampen the smoothness and peacefulness of the tune.

  • i love this piece.

but sorry.. you can do this better. i hope. that wasn't so perfect.. i know that it can't be perfect . but. it can be. SOO MUCH BETTER. . that just my opinion.

    sory.. try again.

I really want to learn this piece.

  • You're incredibly sexy on the cello.

  • I'm playing this for my recital tomorrow :)

  • So beautiful :) I'm learning this song on alto sax and the range is huge - more than 2 octaves...but it's so pretty
