There are a list of options. There's a list of options that are being considered. The President also made a very thoughtful comment, as he always does, that they cannot simply act out of anger. We need to act and the best interest of our economy and in the best interest of our country. As angry as we may be at AIG we need to get out of this deep hole.

  • What a load of cr@p. This Hoyer baffoon makes it sound like it's AIG's fault that the bill written by Congress and "overseen" by Dodd was AIG's fault.

Hoyer, Dodd, other key members of Congress, the White House and all of those who voted "Aye" for the bill should be held responsible for this mess.

They wrote the bill in the first place.

    WHAT A -#$@!- CROCK!

  • yes, AIG looks Greedy. The Average person watching their local news about the AIG bonus give-away is upset.

How will AIG ever become profitable again with the bad publicity AIG has generated? How many annuities and insurance products will they sell when the public views AIG as greedy, stupid and recipicient of coporate WELFARE on a grand scale!
