Honda Civic Type R celebration at Silverstone racing track - the video

40 Honda Type R owners from the biggest Honda owners' clubs in the UK took
part in a special 'Lap of Honour' at the BTCC, Silverstone in August 2010.
This special celebration of the Honda Type R series of cars was led out
by Honda Racing Drivers Matt Neal and Gordon Shedden driving the red Civic
Type R MUGEN concept car and World and Olympic Champion cyclist Ed Clancy in his white Civic Type R.

"Really nice. All of the owners sort of lined up all the vehicles, so we got to see a huge variety - I didn't even realise there were so many different kinds of the Civic Type R. So that was really interesting to see.

We got a massive group photo and we got to take an actual lap - that was so much fun!"

"It's a really good experience to drive on the track that the people you're watching week in, week out drive on."

"It was very interesting to drive along the track and see it from the driver's perspective."

"Especially with it being Silverstone - it's the home of British motorsport, and really, there's no better place to do it."

"We actually were at the very end of the whole line of cars, so we got to see everyone go through first."

"Seeing so many Type Rs out on the track as well - it's a nice thing to see."
