Yeah, the biggest flaw of that time, shame really, it was an era of so many great changes but all too often people were discrimated against and opressed.

So true... a lot of rural America still didn't have electricity or indoor plumbing. My grandmother's brother still didn't have a phone even in the 1950s.

Most people of this time were poor and didn't have such a swell time getting by.
