@BosTechBoys Both are running Snow Leopard at the point. Lion wasn't introduced when I recorded this. lol

The Mac book started quicker cuz the pro has lion.

@tornados65 I simply didn't need it. I lived with 1280x800 for the longest time, and I never complained. I now have a larger resolution on my laptop and I also have a 1920x1080 monitor. I don't need it.

You sadden me. How could you not have gotten the High Res Display?!?!

I just got the MacBook Pro 15 i7 2.0ghz from the apple refurb store. I also put 8gb of ram in there and it flies!

@anil2 Glad you like yours as well! I personally never by refurb anything, even if it's Apple... I just put 16GBs of RAM in mine and it's amazing. :) - I typically use ~13GBs of RAM.

@chiseenchinaman HA! That's funny - same computer! Except I have a 1TB + 120GB SSD and 8GBs of RAM; obviously not stock... Favorite MBP ever - it's literally faster than the Mac Pro at the moment. lol

@tjasko1 a SSD drive will make a computer so snappy!
I'm also happy to hear how you said (in your video) that the macbook was still plenty fast. I felt that about my old macbook... but i traded (CRAZY HOW much a used 3 year old mac goes for) it in because parts kept failing on me and i didn't want to fix it anymore. Some fan boys love to buy new computers at the drop of a hate. as for me, i hate replacing computers... the hours of reinstalling programs and data. =/ eff thatttt

@chiseenchinaman Ohh yeah! My SSD I have in right now (Vertex 3) can read at around 150mb/s and write at a mere 450mb/s. It's incredibly fast.
