  • @tranquil87 G'day... Oh dear ! First I've heard of it. Last night he left a friendly comment, on my 'Feeding Kangaroos In The Rain' clip. I saw he has a 35 Min Vid up at my Sunrise. I suppose he had a rant in that, did he ? Midday now & I'm almost through the Inboxes. To avoid harm, I did explain the No Sharps rule, stressed the "Gently", and I told that they don't like it. I thought you filmed a safe, interesting, friendly, test of the phenomena. No harm intended.

  • @WarblesOnALot Yes, it's a short rant in that 35 mins video. It's not a sharp screwdriver... and I'm obviously just gently tickling the cat. Just goes to show once again how he taints things with his own negative perception and can't stop himself from making useless comments to defame other people. I love my cats and I take the best care of them, &now he wants to portray me as a cat harasser! & he wonders why there aren't many serious videos anymore; who would want to make them with him around?

  • @tranquil87 Ah, well... I guess that's more evidence that each animal has a totally different personality, and will react differently to the same or similar stimuli... I think they're so sensitive there because any injury there would be almost certain to become infected, laming and killing them in the wild... So they're hardwired to be very protective, of the vulnerable spot..? Then the experiences in youth may mediate it too. A tenderfoot Ouch memory , perhaps ?

  • @WarblesOnALot Oh, Warbles, look at what you did! Your suggestion got me hatred from Gary who said that I harass my cat . . . and now the followers came to thumb down my video. Aren't some people on here just really great? They cannot even distinguish between tickling my cat's paws and animal abuse.

  • @tranquil87 G'day..! Wow, that's a very placid Cat ! Once the Fox Terriers woke up, they'd shoot Dad a withering "And I thought you were a TRUSTED Friend !"- look, then the second time they'd get up and go elsewhere... One wonders if your Cat/s will ever forgive me, for disseminating the concept ?

    I hope so...

    Ciao !

  • @WarblesOnALot My other cat reacted quite differently. Even with my fingers, she spread her paw and got her claws out, and frenetically started licking/grooming them!

  • @tranquil87 Yeah, I'm just back from there, & I left a comment admitting I incited you to wake the Cat in a more visually entertaining way, than tongue-tickling... As long as the Companion Animal isn't harmed by the method, then the issue boils down to - Does the Cat Feeder have any Right to Wake The Cat ? And I suspect that there's a Large majority of Cat-People say they have that right. Animal Behavior is fun to study, harmlessly. I reckon.

  • cats pawses are the best! CUTE!
