The Retail Rant

I think the moral of the story is that I need to find a new job. lol

But seriously, why are people so rude while shopping? Retail workers are here to help you find clothes so why be so disrespectful? Not only are people disrespecting the employees but they also ruin other people's experiences because they have the sift through a messy pile because we can't keep up with the mess! Use some common courtesy and respect and just clean up after yourself or at least attempt not to ruin things people work hard on.

Also, I'm sure everyone will now try to find where I work and ruin my stacks. =/

I hear you AnitiAiChan i did retail for ten years!!!! yeah i know..... some people tend to lose about 60% of their I.Q. when they go shopping. Funniest question i have ever had to answer was.. Customer: "Hey whats the name of that Lake out there?" Me: "Why I believe that's the Pacific Ocean!" (I didn't really say it like that I gave him a much nicer reply.)

The worst, is when they take a shirt and pants and lay them out over a stack of clothing to make an outfit and then leave it marooned overtop of the folded cloths..

i hate it when people are rude like that too! my mom worked in retail so she taught me to be polite to the people working and if there's crap strewn about to just tidy it up a bit. so when i'm at a store just looking for my size, i just end up folding some of the shirts cuz i can't find my size and my OCD just gets all asdkhgjkadhjksd.......yup

I so feel your pain Steff. I worked summer retail at a waterpark for years and DAG were people rude. (like sneaking 20 swimsuits in the 3 item dressing room, dropping them in the corner as they try them on, and walking out and saying "You may get them now." ARRRRRGHHH.) Thank goodness I never did it around Christmas....
