@Smargiasso33 thanks alot ! :D

@lmfaoatthat a 147 is the maximum break for a snooker game. it's only achievable by potting all the 15 reds paired with 15 black balls...that gives you 120 points, that added up to the last 27 points (all the 6 colors) give you 147 points. hope its clear :)

what is a 147??

Ronnie did a great job here and on all maximums he has made aswell.
He was and is the best because of his ability of playing with both hands which is a great plus against all other players.
He is astonishing.
Just a reminder, Judd Trump is an upcoming potential, he's left-handed. I like his style of play and still, he is young.
He's good, I like him.
But let's not forget, this is Ronnie, "The Rocket". Go Ronnie!

is the match over when some 1 hits a maximum break?
-
Ronnie holds now the record with 10 maximum breaks since he made one in the world open in Scotland a few days ago agains Mark King.

@gredangeo yh that year it was really bad

What a legend, the arrogance, the finesse....
my friend Stü can do this but not consistently.
amazing!
how many time did he do 147? awesome

@wowolay He's made 9 of the 70 maximums ever made in professional tournaments. Stephen Hendry matched this last year.
Ronnie made the 5 fastest 147s in history, the fastest being 5 minutes 20 seconds :)

Why is the cloth so loose on the table for? Doesn't mess up the shots? At 1:14 it looks so bad.
gredangeo 1 year ago
@gredangeo It's not loose at all. There are finger marks where the players' hands have changed the direction of the nap. The cloth is ironed before each match, so it marks as the games go on. You won't find a finer cloth anywhere.
