@bluenose1986 Good idea, but about three miles back for Geldof would be a safe distance for everyone

B A Robertson spoke with a fake cockney accent when it was fashionable, then reverted back to a Glasgow accent when it became cool. He should never have used a cockney accent in the first place. It showed lack of confidence in his own culture.

I loved this when it came out - I had just met my first love, and his name was Anthony, which is mentioned in the lyrics! Cute song - he's from Glasgow isn't he? (like me)

I was only 6 when this was released, but I loved it. Gr8 memories....

Awful

@marcswales Can you think of a better instrument for him to play?
-
@marcswales - before I saw your comment, I was about to ask the same thing!!!

Never realised back then (I was a teenager at the time) just how clever the lyrics to this song are.

BA Robertson, Joe Dolce & Jona Lewie should get their asses in gear and form a 'super'goup. For extra stardust maybe get Bob Geldolf in on (very far back) backing vocals.

I enjoyed B A in those good old days still do. Good old top of the pops is missed
