Republican Dino Rossi recycled his tired stump speech into the latest missive in his relentlessly negative, no-new-ideas campaign for governor. Viewed in the context of his record, Rossi's speech actually represents a "State of Denial."

All the democrats seem to hate Dino because business supports him and that just doesn't make sense, business feeds us, clothes us, provides our tools and buildings and cars and books and builds our roads and schools and hospitals and all the rest of our needs and wants and desires. Without business we would have nothing. We can't make it all ourselves and the little guy can't manage the big projects that we depend all the time. So why is it that when industry says yes, the democrats say no?

The irony is that the vast majority of republican voters have incomes less than 50k per year & they are precisely the people who are being screwed by the oligarchy that runs this country. The oligarchy (the very rich oil companies & people who run corporations) just want to treat people with lower incomes like slaves. So many people are robots and have allowed republicans to eat into their incomes in the last 8 years.

BTW, in the WA voters pamphlet, Gregoire's short pitch mentions that she took office when there was a $2 billion deficit! WTF, this is a blatent lie that was allowed in.

That's what I'm talking about..., What happened to that tax dollar revenue and the huge surplus that was sitting there when Gregoire took office. What happened to all that additional property tax revenue when land values trippled(quadrippled}. Fuel, sales, B&O, Road, etc. tax increases. Crappy Legislation. Just to scratch the surface. Now we are wallowing in debt, cost over runs, and projects that never seem to get off the ground, like the Viaduct to name one. Gregoire and Cher Suck.
