  • It's easier to drag and copy using the move tool with the option key held down to make duplicate text and picture boxes.

  • @tonyaskinner75 This was the question I had. Was there some advantage to all the manual sizing versus fill proportionally? I would think even if the proportional fill wasn't exactly what you wanted, it would be an easier place to start your manual sizing than from the full image.

  • this was a great refresher for me! thnx.

  • i can do this in photoshop, adn whats so dirty about it your dirty old man!

  • new zeland

  • Questions. When placing a image example a celfone taken with a white background and when placing it to Indesign white background is showing up and I dont want the white background to be seen after placing the image. thanks!

  • I agree with Tonya, use the Fitting options to speed up your process and get more efficient. Nice tutorial!

  • nice tutorial, thanks :)

  • Why do you not use the Fill Frame Proportionally option to size the pics down inside the frames? Seems it would be a little bit easier than shift-clicking and resizing manually, esp if source images are bigger than the InDesign project file.

  • Thank you. I'm learning InDesign on my own and any bit helps.
