Yep, all his tats were real. He had some very nice ones. I dont recall seeing this ad on commercial tv, but I did watch it with him, over and over and over again and laughing with him. And yes sadly, he's crossed over but his memory and quirky ways live on in those who knew and loved him. I miss him very much but thankfully I can still hear his laughter.....his sense of humor was so wicked. <3

The tattoos are real, my grandfather Jigger is Robert's uncle and he did the tattoos in the 60's and 70's .

I was so used to seeing him in bully roles, that I assumed that was him in, "Indiana Jones, The Lost Ark." It sure looked like him, but it wasn't.

I guess those tattoos were fakes. You don't see them on this commercial. He was an actual stuntman and actor. If he were alive today, he would've been too old to play the old tough guy image he had. I remember this commercial, though somewhere I read that he was credited with a Mr. Clean commercial. I knew this was what was meant. But he would've made a good Mr. Clean. Not a big name but one who played alongside big name actors.

This is the cleanser commerical I recall seeing back in the 80's! A very charismatic actor, that's for sure! Can't forget an image like his! A rotten shame that he's no longer with us. But thanks to the magic of film he'll live forever....I'm grateful to you for sharing this fabulous footage with us! :)
