SOMA AirBag Designs™ has taken board bag protection to a new standard, being exceptionally more protective than even the thickest of foam bags and way more convenient. Our bags also have the convenience of compact portability along with less weight (deflates and rolls into a 26x7 carrying bag).

  • Check out the last few minutes of this vid demo (with blue bag). That was a board made for John John Florence with following specs: 2" thick, 4 oz. team glass top and bottom, POLYESTER foam.

  • Dont waste your money on this product. The bag is poorly constructed. The zipper is cheap (as you can tell in these videos), as well as the strap and clasp (mine broke on the first flight). I had to use the handle the rest of that ONE use, so I got one trip out of my bag and now the top wont stay deflated (slow air leak). Their support has not acknowledged my correspondence yet and it has been weeks. Great business you all have going!

  • What board are they?

  • This is a great innovation! I'm just wondering what effect a second board would have in the bag!

Would both boards still be ding free? A video showing 2 boards ding free would be great!

  • Just bought one. Took 1/2 hour to inflate with lungs vs. the 5 minutes advertised. Maybe it's just my weak lung power. I'm putting a 6'10' fish in a 6'6" bag, and, needless to say it fits pretty snuggly. I can feel the rails of the board on the the side with the zipper, probably cuz it's a wide fish. Flying to Bali with this bag. Will give a full report upon my return. Hope that rail doesn't get dented up.

  • put inside a js surfboard...polyester 4oz+4oz...

  • i'd love to see the same happen with a polyester board...
