  • Anyone take a gander at translating the Nigerian during the Kinshasa story? "saroo saroo saroo" "ombigwe ombigwe" or any of it?

  • love this part!

  • @HeronimusBlueMovies Actually, I do. He's not short and hair can be dyed. Maybe his face doesn't look very "Australian", but it's only that. Besides, he'd prepare for that role (I mean, no that it matters anymore, since he's not making it -at least not now-). I think he should be given a chance.

  • @daiu1ro I respectfully disagree. While they are both amazing actors, you can't overlook the original aesthetic of the character. I would not find Johnny Depp believable in the role of a large, blonde, Australian ex-con.

  • @ncbandit70 Hmm, but what about all the violence that's in the book? Can you really picture Depp beating up a group of massively muscled Nigerians like in the book? He's not nearly the right physicality for the role of Lin. Maybe Modena would be a better role for him? That I could see.

  • @blackhoumor I agree entirely! He doesn't fit his physicality in the slightest. I don't think he'd be capable of the violence in the book, seeing as Depp's not exactly the most intimidating character around.

  • Im actually glad my teacher made me read this book. The greatest book ive ever read

  • @ncbandit70 look at gregory david roberts and THEN look at johnny depp. johhny is not fitting this role

  • E.Green looks exactly as I pictured Karla. A.Jolie? Not so much...
