u sed u wernt there mate(so why bother commentin on somethin u dont kno about)because i shud imagine u mean the South-East jazz-funk scene of late70s/erly80s & i never saw any posers-&as 4foam parties arent u gettin mixed up with Ibiza in late80s(u cant have it both ways posin and foam parties!). However altho people were serious about the sounds there was a party side 2 it @weekenders especially in the chalets afta the rooms shut !just kids havin fun that was all

@playsforplaytime im surprised u give that wanker plhokko the publicity of answering him-i was originally from the SouthEast and part of the scene he probably means with his talk of "Essex Soul" ie the jazz-funk world. It was a whole lifestyle (clubs,weekenders,great music,pirate radio, fashions etc)like Northern Soul scene looks like,in the early 80s if some1 was working-class and from the south east they were probably part of it AND IT DEFINTELY WASNT ANYTHING TO DO WITH CUNTS LIKE PLHOKKO.
